Welcome to Mezra ("we," "us," "our"), operated by Rashida Newbill, a sole trader (autónoma) based in Barcelona, Spain. By accessing or using mezra.org and our products, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Mezra offers self-paced online courses (Mezra Fluent 1/2/3, Critical Thinking), an AI-powered conversation tutor, downloadable digital workbooks, and live 1:1 or group coaching sessions.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Course access tied to your account is for your personal, individual use and may not be shared or resold. AI Tutor/Fluent accounts and Critical Thinking accounts use separate login systems and are not automatically linked.
Digital products (courses, the AI Tutor subscription, and PDF workbooks) are sold through Paddle.com, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, applicable tax, and related buyer terms for these purchases. Live 1:1 sessions and group classes are booked and paid separately via Stripe or Cal.com's payment integration.
Self-paced course access purchased as a one-time payment (e.g. the Critical Thinking Print Workbook PDF) is granted permanently unless otherwise stated. The AI Tutor and each Mezra Fluent course level are subscriptions billed on a recurring monthly basis; the Critical Thinking course plans (Student, Homeschool, School) are subscriptions billed on a recurring annual basis. All subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Group sessions are included with an active Mezra Fluent subscription; 1:1 coaching is booked and paid separately per session.
You agree not to share, redistribute, resell, or use automated tools to scrape course content, AI Tutor conversations, or downloadable materials. Accounts found violating this may be suspended.
Some Mezra content (e.g., Mezra Cub stories) is designed for children. A parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account and consent to these Terms on behalf of any user under 18.
All course content, materials, branding, and the Mezra name/fox mascot are owned by Mezra and protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or distribute this content outside your personal license to use it.
Mezra provides educational content "as is." We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded under Spanish or EU consumer law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Mezra after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
